Question:
Dear Jon,
I was in tier 4 for 2 and a half years and in October I had a county court Judgment against me in default which is fully paid by me on 31st March this year.
I had applied for tier 1 graduate entrepreneur visa for uk
I had a CCJ which I paid fully paid and it was filed by eon gas of 703 pounds.
Can my visa get rejected because of that?
Saif
Answer:
Saif,
To my knowledge no, the CCJ, and also the fact that it has been satisfied, should not be an issue in applying for or receiving a Visa in the UK.
The last time I reviewed UK Visa applications, there was not any credit or financial details asked, except to show you can support yourself, or questions about employment.
You can always inquire with Immigration, or who is assisting you in preparing your Visa.
Regards,
Jon
