Consumer Statement:

From 2016 to 2018, Ameritech Financial took payments from me they claimed were going toward a medical debt I’d had from 2015, when I had no insurance. I later found out from a letter received from the FTC in April 2018, that those payments were actually a loan-repayment scam run by Ameritech Financial.

Consumer Action Taken:

I contacted Ameritech about the matter, and they denied all allegations, then redirected the blame to FTC, and refused to refund the money they took from me.
