I enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief program hoping that they will be able to help me with my credit card debt. They were able to help settle the small debts for the first 2 years.. Then they messed up, they had a structural settlement in one of my creditors and they missed 1 payment and they were emailed and told about it but was not able to informed me.. 5 months after, my employer received a garnishment letter from my creditor. They defaulted the agreement because FDR missed a payment.. I tried asking help from their legal help from one of their parties but they failed. They’re weren’t able to stop the garnishment and advised me to file for bankruptcy instead. And was th old I have to settle this on my own. They gave us promises, and when they fucked it up they will just leave you in so much debt.
Consumer Action Taken:
I tried calling their company asking what they can do to help me but said there’s nothing else they can do. I was told to just remove the account from my enrolled debt and deal it myself.

Doesn’t Freedom Debt Relief work with a law firm that represents their clients when there clients get sued? I heard it was similar to Veritas but just for Freedom customers.
I’ve asked Freedom to respond to the consumer to provide some assistance.
