Kirkland Green Review

Address:

2400 Main St
Second Floor
Irvine, California 92614

Corporate records say it is:
Don Kim
6529 Berry Ave
Buena Park, CA 90602

The Association of Settlement Companies disclosure on their site says:
Kirkland Green
1117 Desert Lane #1043
Las Vegas, NV 89102

It is actually a Nevada corporation with all the positions held by Chas F. Bain. Mr. Bain may have actually passed away on July 17, 2009. I think Bain have just been a straw man to cover the real owners of Kirkland Green. Bain is on 1226 corporate listings in Nevada.

Description:

The KirklandGreen.com site looks to be nothing more than a lead generation site. They sure make it really difficult to tell what their street address is and where they are located and that always makes me very suspicious. What are they hiding from?

All of their FAQs are about debt settlement so that must be their main focus.

Relationships

Robert Kurhajian is cited as co-founder of American Financial Service debt settlement company as well. AmericanFinancialService.org, American Financial Service is really just a DBA for World Class Debt Service, Inc. at 500 Windcove Place, Bakersfield, CA – Source

Interesting Points

The customer email address for this company is service@usdebtplan.com. USDebtPlan.com came out of the blue but the contact there is the same Robert Kurhajian as with Kirkland Green. Odd. There is a registered company US Debt Plan, LLC in California.

“Hi. This is Tom with HSB, and I’m calling because you are qualified for the newly approved credit card bailout program to eliminate your credit card debt. Please press one now to reserve this bailout program for you today, before it’s too late. We can reduce your debt down to zero, but I need to hear back from you today. Once again, if you want to take advantage of this credit card bailout program, please press one now.” – Transcript of Prerecorded Telephone Solicitation by Kirkland Green

Here are some other remarks about Kirkland Green and their telemarketing activities.

I’ve been getting a call from this number a lot. Today was the first day that I picked up in time. Initially there was a message saying that I was late on my credit card payments. The message said it was “Matthew”, that I could pay just .40-.50 on the dollar for my credit debt with their company and that I should press “1” to speak with a representative.

I was then transferred to a woman named Robin who asked for my name, the amount of debt I had (specifically she wanted to know if I had at least 8000 in debt – I lied to keep the call going) and my phone number. I asked her for the name of her company and she said “Financial Administrators.” I asked for the website for her company and she said that they did not have one.

She then transfered me to Chris the consultant that was going to “help me with my debt problems.” Chris said that he was from Kirkland Green with the website 4klg.com. http://4klg.com/

I explained to Chris how I have been harassed by the company for months now with phone calls. He said that he didn’t know anything about that – that it was the marketing campaign. He initially said the call center was part of Kirkland Green but then back tracked to say that it was not. He said he did not know what the name of the marketing group/call center was.

I intend to write to Kirkland Green at info@1klg.com and call them to let them know that their marketing practices are unacceptable and unappreciated. Maybe others getting a call from this number should do the same. – Source

The same number that is attributed to telemarketing calls for Kirkland Green is also listed for selling extended vehicle warranties and medical benefits. – Source

  1. I am a current client of Kirkland Green and I have been for several years over those years they have never kept in contact with me and every time I get a new number to call it is inactive the next time I try to reach them.  Most of the numbers posted on the internet for them are also inactive.  I need to reach them to pay off my debt and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone.  I leave messages and no one ever calls me back.  I am very dissatisfied with their services at this point.  If anyone can get me the RIGHT number to call so that I can actually speak with someone I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you, Robin

    • Hey robin the same thing is happening to me and I am getting extremely frustrated. I feel that this is very unprofessional of them to be doing this. They have been taking money out of my account every month and I don’t even know what is going on. I am in my last few months of their services and they haven’t gotten a hold of me and they keep putting me on hold when i call them and I never get anyone on the phone. It just keeps repeating the same recording over and over again. I emailed them with the email address that they have given me but the email doesnt exist and I also faxed them. It went through but still no contact with me. I am extremely unhappy with their services and I don’t know what to do.

  2. I’m just curious. Your last sentence made me want to know why not bankruptcy? If you had gone bankrupt you would not have been sued? Was avoiding bankruptcy and now having a public record of lawsuits more advantageous?

  3. I am a client of Kirkland Green. I have been with them since July 2009. They are a debt settlement company. They have given me peace of mind through a difficult situation. Being with them does not stop the calls from collection companys, or summons etc. However, they have walked me through responding to summons. Any new information or letters I get from creditors I send immediatly to them and they then intervene on my behalf. I was able to settle one $9,000 card through them for $3,200. Anyone who is in this situation I wish you well with getting back on track….and my advice is anything extra you can put to the debt to expediate the results I highly recommend. In the early months of the program I received some very generous offers from creditors, but was unable to accept them due to lack of funds. I took this route rather than bankrupcy.

      • Filing for BK is not always the answer. Why file for BK when you can settle your debt? Why ruin your credit for 10 years? Who knows if you even qualify for BK???? Debt Settlement will ruin your credit but you will have peace of mind that these creditors are getting some of the money they are owed bad vs liquidating it. BK is also publicly shown. Litigation on those behind on payments occur based on different circumstances. Cloverleaf61 did what he felt right to him and was happy with the results and glad he didnt take the “Easy” way out. BK should always be the last option for everyone.

  5. The NV address is for a company called Nevada First Holdings http://www.nevadafirst.com. They specialize in selling shelf corporations so that your business looks older (and more legitimate), and setting up Corporations, LLC’s and holding companies (on their website, they say a business should have multiple Corps and LLC’s, to keep their assets in a holding entity, or multiple holding entities, protecting from legal liability).

For an extra charge you can use their address as your own, they’ll answer calls, forward mail etc, to make it look more like you are actually in NV
“The Office Identity program is provided for clients who require a legitimate business address in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rather than a mail drop or a PO Box service, NFH offers genuine office suite services that includes an address with a distinct suite number, individualized mail forwarding, corporate telephone number (shared) that includes reception service, routine copier and facsimile service and a full service conference room availability are included in the basic Office Identity program”

Anyone who goes this route is suspicious in my book. Everything this company does looks wrong.

BTW, thanks for all the research you do on these debt settlement companies. There are so many out there that just steal money, but so little real information is available for consumers when they try to research about the companies. Little by little you’re filling in all the cracks 🙂

    • I am young and obviously dumb. I thought they were a legitimate company but they are not. I have been trying to get ahold of them and they will not get back with me. They have been taking my money for several years and now when my contract is almost up with them they stop contacting me. They are obviously con artists.
