Question:
Dear Steve,
I was supposed to be having my bill go down, not up. But instead, my credit kept getting worse.
What am I missing here?
They were taking $352&change from my account for damn near an entire year. So do you want to explain why my bills kept going up when they were supposed to be going DOWN, and my credit was supposed to go only so LOW but kept going DOWN?
Michael
Answer:
Dear Michael,
What you are missing is what this is all about? Throw me a bone here. Are you having an issue with a specific creditor or some debt relief company?
If I was to guess what you are referring to, it sounds like what some people experience that work with a debt settlement or debt intervention company.
If that’s the case, I think you should talk to the company and try to get some straight answers to your questions. This guide I wrote to help solve company problems might help you in this process. Read How to Get Your Money Back From a Debt Relief Company if You Feel Like You’ve Been Scammed.

everything I read about debt relief is making me quite leery so since my credit score has already dropped 200 points from not paying some of my credit cards How much MORE is it likely to drop if I DID go with debt relief?
