So Excited We Are Helping Kids. Thank you.

I’m really excited we’ve been able to help fund financial education for children this year. When I say ‘we’ I mean it. As a result of ad revenue that is generated by people visiting and clicking on ads and the support given by Cambridge Credit Counseling to support my work, we’ve generate additional funds to fund financial education projects.

Here are some of the thank you notes I’ve received recently. I wanted to share them with you so you could feel the love as well.

Thank You Notes

Students Buy It Right

I wish that you could be a little mouse in the corner of my room! You would be able to see what an impact your donation has made on my students. They are wanting to practice time and money skills during free play time — I can’t believe it! It was very exciting for all of us to open the boxes for our learning center. It has been so much fun to have “money” to count and play store with the cash register to count out change. I so appreciate having these materials for my students so they can learn while having fun. I invited other teachers from my school to see what was purchased and their classrooms will also benefit from your generosity.

With gratitude,
Mrs. N.

Thank you so much for your wonderful donation to help my students learn real life skills. I am so excited for them to come and implement the materials in my classroom. I am already thinking of tons of ways in which I can use the materials you funded to teach money and time.
When I told my students that our project has been funded their faces lit up. They have been having a really hard time in math recently and I know that these material will give them the confidence they need to succeed in math.

Thank you again for your generosity and kindness. These materials will be used over and over again to provide special education students a way to better learn.

With gratitude,
Ms. K.

Words can’t describe how excited my students were to see the big box from Donors Choose this morning! My students know that when we get boxes from donors like you, they get to learn new things in fun and exciting ways. Although we won’t be using the money manipulative’s and tools for a few more weeks, just having it here has my children so excited! They’ve already asked twice if we can skip the next lessons and go back to money!

Thank you for helping me instill the joy of mathematics within my students. They are so eager to learn because of your generosity! You have made such a generous donation to their lives and education. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

With gratitude,
Mrs. P.

Our class is so very grateful to have these math and money supplies in our classroom. Our students need to understand numbers and money in order to apply their knowledge in independent living skills within the community.

By learning numbers and money, our students can understand how much items cost and be able to complete money transactions. By having these supplies, the special needs students have the opportunity to learn and practice their number and money skills in the classroom first. Then, when we take community based field trips, the students get to practice their skills while ordering and paying for food or paying for their bowling time.

It is so exciting to have these supplies and the students in our class will have more opportunities to become independent workers and consumers within our local community because of your gracious donations!

Once again we are so excited to get started with the math supplies and we look forward to learning all we can about numbers and money!

With gratitude,
Ms. D.
