  • LOL…Tasc is RUN by the freaking President of Debt Settlement America, which is also a terrible company. So it’s an organization that is set up by bad settlement companies, to back bad settlement companies. Tasc is a joke!

  • I am an innocent sheep that got devoured by Kersterson’s wolves, unsuspecting busy executive and entrepeneur trying to delegate the task of negotiating debts down while I focus on generating more income, that’s been pretty slim pickins these days. It’s a upside down juggling act with home values here in Northern California and there’s no end in sight, we haven’t hit bottom yet.

My comment is that I didn’t do enough research on an $11K purchase. I can earn that much money with two consulting projects but that’s not the point. Deceptive practices that prey on the vulnerable, the misfortunate circumstances of victims, worst of all false promises and the terrible experience of being mistreated as a client all amount to more than you can save in the settlement process. The grief, the time I’ve spent trying to get a refund, my own time I’ve expended doing a job I thought I was paying DSA to do for me all amount to much more than I’m saving.

Most critical at this point in time is the potential catastrophe that this 6 months of ignoring my creditors has done for me…that time is lost, now I’m in the cross hairs of the debt collectors because I make way more than the typical DSA client, I have way more to lose! I can’t qualify for a BK, I’ve settled some of my accounts on my own but I can’t afford to spend that much time on the rest of them.

It’s a dilema and I have to grab it by the horns and act quickly. Kesterson better watch out because there are at least twenty more like me who are waiting in line at the State of Texas AG’s office and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Just yesterday I get a response from a two month old complaint that I filed with TASC telling me that my email was in their spam folder. What a joke I had to laugh at myself for being such a fool, there’s one born everyday and that’s why there are companies like Debt Settlement America. Even if I don’t recover my money I can warn others about my experience.

    • Les,

What else did the TASC response say? Was TASC going to take any action about your complaint?

Can you please keep us posted on what happens?
