We, read that Pam, got our potatoes planted yesterday in our garden. This year we are using these Potato Planter Bags to plant the potatoes in.
Last year we planted them in the beds themselves but the potato plants took up way too much space. The bags are made of a slightly porous felt like material that allows water to drain out the bottom so they don’t get all swampy. The material also allows air to circulate which helps growth also, or so I’m told. We shall see. Au gratin anyone?
