An anonymous tipster (send in your tips here) sent me an email with information on an advertisement that appears to be from a newspaper and about a “New US Government regulations allow Americans to qualify for substantial sums of money.” – Source
I’m going to have to chalk this up to yet another deceptive ad for debt relief services.
“The Bailout Changed My Life”, the fake newspaper site says. The site also says it has been featured on a number of media sites and uses the logos for those sites.
I followed the links in the fake newspaper site and it took me to the advertisement above which I filled in and that took me to a representative for a company the representative identified as Consumer Debt Counselor Group at 4800 N. Federal Hwy, Suite 302A, Boca Raton, Fl. 33431. They label themselves as USOBA members.
It looks like the advertisement must be working for the Consumer Debt Counselor Group people since they are looking for closers.

This is certainly yet another interesting advertisement that in my opinion appears to misdirect the reader to believe it is something it is not. And by the way, clicking on all the other sections of the fake paper take you to the same debt relief page.
