“Dear Steve,
I have a credit score of 550. I have never had a credit card and recently got my credit report. I owe collections and don’t know who sent what to collections except a few. What can I do to find out where the collections got my debt from so I can figure out if I really owe said amount. I want to raise my credit score really bad and get out of debt, but I have NO idea how to do this… I’m 23…
Anyways what is the best way to fix my crappy credit?
Justina”
Dear Justina,
The best course of action would be to contact the collection companies listed on your consolidated credit report to find out more about the debt they are reporting.
To rebuild your credit and increase your credit score, click here.
Please update me on your progress by posting updates here in the comments section of your question. I’m very interested in how this works out for you.
