From WSOC TV in North Carolina.
A man said he was a victim of a company that claimed it could help him settle about $15,000 of old debts.
The man, who didn’t want to be identified, said he paid Nevaeh Solutions $400, most of which was upfront, after its owner said he could erase 32 old debts.
The man said four of the debts were removed, but he never got any proof that Nevaeh’s owner, Maurice Ball, contacted his other creditors.
“I never seen any correspondence that he allegedly said he was sending out,” he said.
The man said when he asked Ball for his money back, he was told he’d fulfilled the contract.
