He states California Franchise Tax Board had notified him that I now owe over $40, 000 instead of $14, 348. He had the balls to email me another contract asking for an additional $3, 000. I refused but did ask him to forward formal documentation from CFTB. He was unable to do so. I am now dealing with a Todd Lewis VP and refunds manager at Blue Tax. He wants me to call him to negotiate a refund. I refuse. He alleged that if I notify BBB and Attorney General’s Office in Los Angeles I will not receive a refund at all. Complaints were filed today to both offices . October 25, 2012

  • When initially speaking with a representative, Joshua, I was promised everything in the add:  from handling leins to levys’ and stopping wage garnishing to reducing the amount that I owed IRS.  After two years of dealing with high school drop-outs and nothing was done, a levy was placed on my account and the funds confiscated by IRS.  With a limited amount of time being dedicated to retrieving my money, I was called by a “Compliance Manager”, Joe Gallow, who stated that he was at the top of the food chain and insulted my intelligence by denying any of the above claims which Blue Tax had initially promised before taking my money.  He defended the high school drop-outs who was apparently the “runner” for retrieving information on my account and for me the runners changed frequently without any communication.  After two years of waiting and trying to contact someone for an update, a Leslie Mackey was finally assigned to my case by another Manager named Ashley, who after approx. 1.5 week of decent communication, it was interrupted by Mr. Gallow who stated that Leslie was spending a considerable amt. of time on my acct.  He failed to acknowledge that the levy was placed on my account because of their lack of attention to filing the past years of back taxes, was the ultimate reason for the levy.  He was a rude, “now that I have your money, I can treat you any sort of way” kind of person.  No ownership to any of the claims that Blue Tax advertises was upheld by this head of the food chain.  You are better off burning your money and going to jail than trying to deal with this superior rip-off, lying, decietful company.  I hope you read this review before you become a victim of their lies and deciet.
