I Defaulted on a Stipulation Agreement. What Now? – KayKay

i entered into a stipulation without really understanding what it was . all i understood is that i would settle for a lesser amount and pay monthly. i was unable to make the first couple of payments and they put a hold on my account. i went to court and made the past payments and my account was released. now after making these payments for a year and a half i call the lawyers to get my balance and they tell me that i went into default so i now owe the full amount. i was only $300 away from paying off this agreement and now they tell me that my balance is $3000 and change. is there anything legally that i can do? can i appeal this? please help!

can i appeal a default stipulation? is there anything that i can do to fight a default stipulation?
