  • Hello Karen,

I am not familiar with them off the top of my head. Can you tell me what their plan for you is? At this time have you researched all of the options and determined that a settlement is the best approach available given your situation? If you provide me with a bit more information about your circumstances and their plan for you, I can tell you if it sounds like it makes financial sense.

In the interests of full disclosure I will admit that my initial impulse whenever I am asked if XYZ settlement company is a good idea, is “probably not”. This impulse simply comes from the fact that most of the time, you are getting financial advice from someone who sells debt settlement. And most of the debt settlement companies do things that don’t make a lick of financial sense for most consumers. However I am willing to withhold judgment until you tell me what their plan is for you.
