Federal Consumer Relief Site Review

This review is the result of an email I received that mentioned the company.

Address:

6942 Ed Perkic St. Suite A
Riverside CA 92504

This is the street shot provided by Google of the address. The office appears to be located in an industrial area.

Website:

federaldebtreliefs.com

Description:

“We provide 100% legitimate debt reduction programs to eliminate credit card debt. Take the first step towards a debt-free life by completing our brief information form. Federal Consumer Relief representatives will contact you shortly to discuss how to get rid of your debt today.” – Source

Management

The site is silent on management.

The California corporate registration says:

According to public records the company was incorporated by Shadi Badawiya who is also listed as a contact on one of the domain records as well.

Company Background

A Shadi Badawiya appears to be a real estate agent in California and is or was associated with Pacific Prime Home Mortgage & Real Estate

Relationships

At least the following domains are related to Federal Consumer Relief:

quickdebtservices.com – email address of registered contact for usfcr.org. This site sells debt settlement training and support services. It advertises how you can become a debt settlement company. – Source

Interesting Points

Several of the Federal Consumer Relief websites contain the USOBA logo. USOBA confirmed to me they are in fact not current members and should not be displaying the logo.

A Shadi Badawiya is also listed as part of Option 1 Debt Relief, LLC. A company that is suspended in California.

Federal Consumer Relief claims to have settled debt for at least one Minnesota resident. – Source. But according to the State of Minnesota they are not licensed in the state to offer services. – Source. I did not check on other states.

  1. it would be worthy to note that the BBB rates all so cal companies F.

FYI, I do not support this company. The name is deceiving using “Federal”… Although I’ve always wondered why FedEx was permitted to use the word Federal.
Second, they use the USOBA logo but aren’t members… very questionable.
