I Started to Work With Oak View Law Group But I’m Second Guessing Myself. – Diane

“Dear Steve,

I have 5 payday loans… 3 online and 2 store front. i recently started with Oak View Law Group to considate my loans. I have only paid one month in to the trust. I am now second thinking my situation. I am not feeling comfortable with this company. I am worried that I am going to pay more with all their fees too. I looked online to see if their were any other programs out there and I found Relief, LLC. That company sounded good…but they all sound good.

My question to you is should I stay with OVLG or move on to a different company? Would I be able to do it myself? Is there any company out there that would help me. I have no problem paying my bill but I need the to be consolidated with a reasonable payment amount each month. Can you help me? Give me advice?

Dear Diane,

The only way to truly “consolidate” the debt would be to get a debt consolidation loan. So it appears the strategy you are pursuing is one in which you are working with a third party company to run interference and attempt to work out a suitable solution.

OVLG provides an exceptional level of customer service and they are a member of the AACC. See their page here. That page has the email address for their president so if you are unhappy for any reason you can get direct answers.

I’m not sure jumping around is the right answer at this point. How much debt do you have? Post your answer in the comments below.

  1. I wouldn’t worry about your payday loans. Just walk away from it. They don’t report to your credit bureaus….you’ll just have to deal with all the collection calls. Then, settle your debt for pennies on dollar with them 🙂
