In order to tell you specifically what the best strategy is to move forward with, I would need to know a lot more about your situation.
What is your income like? Is it steady? After paying your necessities, how much do you have left over if any to pay towards these debts? Do you have any assets that could be seized or garnish able wages if a creditor was to obtain a judgment.
How old are you? Do you have a retirement? Are you married? What are your plans for retirement?
Are you current or behind on these debts? If behind, by how far? What sort of interest rates are on these debts? What options have you looked at and which are you considering? Do you feel settlement is the best option? If so why? Have you met with a bankruptcy attorney?
These are all things I would want to know so we could put together an overall plan. Unfortunately blindly referring you to a good debt settlement company would be a tremendous disservice to you until I understand what you should be doing. While I do know who the good companies are, I can get fairly large discounts off their fees for my clients if I refer a client that I know is in a good situation for settlement.
It is a win win for the settlement company and my client. They get a client who will have ran through all the options with me if together we decide that settlement is the best choice and there is a large change for success, and my client will have the benefit of hiring a solid company that puts their clients first and receives a substantial discount off their fees. So lets take things one step at a time and make sure you get the right information to make an educated decision that is best for you and your family first. Then once we know the solution, we can talk about whether or not you need to hire anyone to help you implement it.
Please answer these questions for me in the comments section below, or if you would prefer a private phone consultation, which would be better in my opinion (of course you could say that is bias), but good advice just the same. You can contact me through my website to set up the call and we can take an overall look at your entire financial picture as well as your goals moving forward. Then we will customize a strategy based on that input and get things moving in the right direction for you.
