I’ve Been Duped By LHDR And Would Like to Be Included in a Class Action Case Against Them. – Melissa

“Dear Steve,

I have been duped by LHDR also and live in Arizona. I would like to be included in the class action suit. what is the best way to accomplish this?

Melissa”

Dear Melissa,

I am not aware of a class action case brought against Legal Helpers Debt Resolution in Arizona. But that does not mean there isn’t one.

The law group that is most active in this area is Scott Law Group in Washington State. They may have more information about a case in your state. You can reach them at (509) 455-3966.

I’m curious, why do you feel you were duped?

Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.

Sincerly,
Steve

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.

  • Do check with the Attorney General in your state. What Legal Helpers is doing in Washington State is illegal for the upfront fees they are charging. I was not aware of this when I signed up for their program. They pad their own pockets, they do not care about any one they sign up for their program. For the amount of money they charge their clients for the first year or so, they are hoping each will be sued and drop out so they can walk away with thousands of dollars. Desperate people are being duped out of what little money they have by these criminals. I checked with the BBB before I signed with them and supposedly they had a B rating. I thought if I could avoid bankruptcy it would be the way to go. They cleverly keep you engaged by reassuring you that you’ve just “retained” the largest lawfirm in the country. They even tell you will be “followed by a compliance officer” they sure have you believing they know what they are doing, until you begin to find out they are not doing anything at all. If you add up the thousands of people all over the country who have signed up with this organization and you multiply the amounts they are charging people? What a scam!! This is worse than a Ponzi scheme. I know I was embarrassed and still am of falling for this sham. Check with an attorney who can help you start a class action suit. These guys need to be stopped.
