Timeline Debt Review: Is It Legit?

Quick Answer: Timeline Debt appears to be illegitimate based on customer complaints of poor communication and the company dissolving in November 2010. The customer paid $335.48 monthly but received only partial refunds before the company became unreachable and unresponsive.

“Dear Steve,

I, regretably, got involoved with Timeline Debt to get our of debt in May of 2010. By the end of 2010 I had not received information as to the progress that was to be given me as to the solution of getting out of debt.

I had been paying $335.48 a month of which $29.95 was being deducted by Client Solutions for handling. I was concerned at this time and quit paying the amount in January 2011. Of course I was calling, e-mailing and of course no response to my many requests.

Most money news tells you what happened. I tell you what to do about it.

Every weekday I read the enforcement actions, filings and fine print the outlets skip, and turn them into the one or two moves that actually improve your position — a rate worth moving for, a fee you can refuse, a deadline to beat before it costs you.

In June I received a $250 refund along with a letter stating that the refund balance of the refund would follow shortly minus the handling charges. Needless to say nothing has appeared and my e-mails have come back as undeliverable.

I haven’t made any calls because all you get is a answering machine answer and that probably has been disconnected. I think I have been scammed and I’m not happy aboput that eith. With the LLC attached to the business I do not see th at I will receive my refund.

At this time, what else can I do? I received the same answer from the BBB.

Dear Gloria,

Well it sounds like you did get screwed over since the company dissolved in November 15, 2010. – Source

You know, depending on how much you are owed you might want to sue the company owners directly in small claims court and see if you can’t negotiate a better refund.

According to State of Florida documents the owners were:
