Where Can I Get Help With Debt Consolidation? – Phillip

“Dear Steve,

I’m newly married with kids. After facing multiple vehicle repairs and paying below the minimum payment each month, I’m in a hard place. I’m getting letters and phone calls but have nothing to give.

How can I get help, consolidation, etc so that I can take care of my family?

Phillip”

Dear Phillip,

The quick answer is that I really like LendingClub.com for an unsecured debt consolidation loan. But I’m worried there is more to your story.

It sounds like you just are not able to make ends meet. Is that a fair assumption?

How much debt do you have that you are struggling with?

Not speaking about too much but I do hate owing ANYTHING.  Under 2000.  I am trying to work with my wife on sticking with a budget.  I feel I’m used to not needing or feeling like I need “stuff”.  Do you know of any budgeting aides?

If you download my free book “Eliminate Your Debt Like a Pro” it has all that in there.

Don’t make a budget, track your real expenses first and then come up with how you actually spend your money.

Perfect.  Just downloaded all three.  Thank you.
