Consumer Statement:

I was in the middle of being sued when I got this advertisement in the mail that American Mediation could step in & clear this all up.

The fee would be $300.00 plus a phone transaction fee of $10.00. I was so humiliated to go to court that I was desperate so I went with it. His promise was to make sure that I did not have to go to court & that this matter could be handled with our the court scene. Needless to say that was just the beginning of my nightmare.

I have handed the card over to the JHass Group (they suck as well) at first & then when I was served the papers about being sued that is when I turned to Jared Allen/American Mediation Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The advertisement appeared to be legate & after speaking to him many many times I was convinced that he could help.

Of course the fee is to be paid up front & then he is to go to work for you. Talking to the CC companies to work with me threw him. He never once called them. 6 months later I was summoned to court since the card had been then turned over to an attorney. During this time frame as stupid as this may sound my husband & I decided to with draw money from his 401K program. Very bad decision! I received a phone from our bank & our account had been locked for double the amount owed on that card which when I started it was $4900 but as time passes the amount due was almost $9000.00. I was hysterical –they not only want the full amount due but they locked our checking account. How are we to pay bills.

Luckily my husband is a calm man…I contacted Jared Allen & was told oh no biggie we will just claim a “wild Card” status. Go to court the week before your original date demand to be heard in front of the judge claiming that the money that was in our checking account was not mine but my husbands & that I had no right to touch it. Need less to say I was laughed at..I owed the money & that they can legally shut down your checking account.

The day of my hearing the judge said I had to pay the full amount unless the attorney would accept less. Well there point is why should they take less..no contact on this account had ever been made & I had the money.So why would they negotiate with me? I had been had…Mr. Allen did nothing. never returned my calls & never helped me in any way.

This guy is a scam artist & after looking on line at his website other have posted the same things about him. I am not sure what can be done to this guy but he like so many other operations that claim to help people have to be stopped. The economy has thrown all of us a curve ball & these people are feeding off of our mistakes. Shame on him!
