Not quite yet… good thing I bing searched Manchester Capital Trust. I saw the recent 11/1 link about them. Ispoke with an Eric Griffin with 877-xxx -xxxx

He callled out of the blue ..saying I answered one of third party loan sites.
He had an investor that would provide a “secured” loan of $5000 @8% interest payable in 24months $224.25 per month. This did answer to what I as hoping for.. short term loan and affordable too.

They sent me a Loan contract to sign and need to return with a copy of ID and my recent paystub. I asked about how I would send the payments.. “ahh good thing you asked that..” He said.

He described what is a secured loan .. 3 months in advance. Either a cashier check to their address .. it would take 7-10 days to get the funds deposited to my account. OR western union/moneygram the “secured advance” payment $675.75 to the secured investor ( He didnt give me the info until I return the loan contract by email or FAX. The funds would be deposited the next day and repayment would begin in March 2012 ( written on contract.)

I know some good things just cant fall from Heaven liike that. I was in good spirits rest of the day, you know that feeling.

I havent done anything or send any yet. The loan contract is straight forward and official like.

Sorry no tel # since it appeared “Unknown” on my caller ID. He blamed that the telephone company was giving them problems when calling out….

Consumer Action Taken:

I havent done anything and wont snd the contract anyway.
