I had been paying Franklin Financial (Jacksonville FL) for over a year for credit repair. $75 a month. In July they stopped charging me and it seems they are just out of business. With 15 months of paying $75 a month, my credit is exactly the same, scores are even a little lower, and things on report just marked “in dispute” said my local credit union.
Franklin Financial said it took ‘5 rounds’ of disputing and requesting reports until they could really do something to get stuff removed. Well, after the 5th round..they are out of business?????!!!!!
I got ahold of email of girl who was handling my ‘case’ via email asking her if out of business, no one returns calls, and I went to credit union to get approved for car loan and my credit scores lower and everything still on and just said ‘in dispute’.
She wrote back about sending her a copy of the credit unions credit report of mine. But, I emailed her back saying “are you out of business???” and no response!
