“Dear Steve,

Carolyn”

Dear Carolyn,

I took a look around and see that the State of Texas does have some student loan forgiveness programs for teachers and medical providers. Unfortunately I don’t see anything for state employees.

I would suggest you call your personnel department and ask them about such a program. It seems like it would be a tremendous employment benefit and if it existed it would be on their radar.

Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.

Sincerly,
Steve

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.
