My Dental School Loans Have Me Depressed. – Ann

“Dear Steve,

Situation *
I have student loans from dental school which are in default because I was never able to obtain a position to complete my training. I feel so depressed because although I’m working it’s only part time and not enough to help cover my loans. I can’t even move out of my parents house because I can’t afford to. Any advice?

How can I eliminate some of this debt? Is bankruptcy an option?

Are these government backed loans or private student loans. It makes a difference.
