iLender Ast – Consumer Complaint – 11-23-2011

Date This Problem Happened: November 21, 2011

State You Live in: Pennsylvania

Race/Ethnicity: Alaska Native

Age Range: 21-35

Total Amount of Fee Paid:

Company Name: iLender Ast or iLenderAst

Company Address:

Company Telephone Number: 888-475-9335

Website of Company:

Consumer Statement:

I surfed the web looking for payday loans – never took one out – a lot have emailed me to complete transaction by following up email but I sent back saying I didn’t want it. This company had the nerve to check to see if my checking account was valid by depositing 5 cents then 1 cent – luckily I went to bank today and they are all over this. I think this is a serious problem that everyone should report. I don’t even know the name of the company. All I have is ID number from the bank.

Consumer Action Taken:

When company is called, first they put you on hold because all their operators are busy, then they disconnect you. Or you call and the number is temporarily out of service. The number is 1-888-475-9335 – my bank also tried to call – same thing – this is a big scam

This company took 30.00 out of my account without my authorization on 11/26/11. I called them and told  them it unauthorized and was told by some person with a foreign accent my money would be refunded.  Two weeks later I called the again and this time was given customer services number.  They said they were having problems getting this back into my bank account but assured me they were going to reissue it that day.  A week and a half   later I called them again.  I talked to some Parker lady employee number 126 and she assured me I would have it within 5 days. Still nothing. Called  again to customer service and he said accounting was behind but I would definitely have it with in the week.  Today, two weeks later I called and the number is not in service.  What a bunch of crap!!!!

Today I noticed that $30.00 was taken out of my checking account without my authorization.  Last week ilender deposited .05 then withdrew the .05 out the withdrew $30.00. I just called them and a woman with an accent whom I could not understand wanted my phone number and I told her that I wanted to speak with a manager which she would not let me.

Just did the same thing…went online to check my bank account…saw the .01 deposits up to .05 and then they tried to take the $30.00 out of my account and overdrafted it…I AM SOOOO MAD…foreign accent, she said that I did give authorization to do this which I did apply for a payday loan but I read the fine print and do not recall that. I think I will call her back and have her send me the authorization

I have had this happen to me also, costing me more than $86.00. They didn’t do anything to help me or try to fix the situation. Bad company that just puts my email out there for more spam.

I too, have been subject to this F***ing Company that has cost me a toal as of 10:22pm 11-30-2011 of $162.37 and I am sure there will be more sence I can not just go close my account due to certain direct deposits that cant be stopped in time! They come up as the “888-475-9335 iLenderAst” as well as” 866-761-1124 FUND ASSUR” both putting in 1 cent and taking out 1,2 or 3 here and there. Then I think once that they see your not going to do anything about it they clear out whats in the account!

I also had   iLender  also deposit money into my account then took it out without my authorization . I had filled out 1 app from a payday loan lender  but changed my mind then got at least 20 or more different payday lenders in my email. Tonight I got my online bank statement and saw that I had a deposit today and then withdrawals ( without my authorization) of course it was only .05 and they withdrew two  .01 transactions then a .03 . I just reported this to the police as my bank is closed tonight ( 10:12pm)

I did the exact same thing….surfed to find a payday loan and completed info….it evedently went to 100’s of payday loan places as I am getting irritated with the calls and emails.  Today I noticed the same 5 cent deposit and then 3 withdrawals that totalled the 5 cents.  I called and could hardly understand the woman as there was a combo of other people in the background and a thick accent.  I finally said yes or no will there be any deposits into my acount.  After a few times of hearing…maam you were approved yadda yadda I said I DO NOT WANT ANY LOANS…so she put me on hold and assured me there would not be….I asked her what her name was and she said Sheila…..we will see!

Yes, I’ve had them take money out of my account as well. Going to my bank today to see if I can get it reversed.
