I’M BEHIND ON MY MORTGAGE 21 MONTHS,i APPLIED FOR MODIFICATION WHEN MY WIFE WAS WORKING,SO MY FINANCIALS WERE HIGHER, THE BANK(BANK OF AMERICA)GAVE ME A MODIFICATION BUT THE PAYMENTS WERE TOO HIGH, THEY ADVISE ME TO REFUSE IT, UPDATE MY FINANCIALS AND THEY WILL WORK ANOTHER MODIFICATION. IT TURNS OUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME ANOTHER MODIFICATION NOW THEY WANT ME TO BRING THE LOAN UP TO DATE,WICH I CAN’T OR DO A SHORT SALE
iS THERE ANYTHIN THAT CAN BE DONE TO AVOID LOOSING THE HOUSE, I CONTACTED NATIONWIDE LAW CENTER,PA OR BACKEND IN 150 PAULARINO AVE, SUITE 170,COSTA MESA,CA,92626, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WORK WITH THE INVESTORS AND THEY CAN WORK OUT A MODIFICATION, IS THAT POSIBLE? IS THAT A TRUSTED FIRM?
I don’t know if they are a “Trusted Firm” but coincidentally a consumer just filed a complaint about companies offering similar services at the same street address. Read Phillips Law Center, State Law Group, Farmers Law Group – Consumer Complaint – 12-15-2011.
At the very least I’d get a second opinion from a licensed real estate attorney in your state before paying any funds.
