US Consulting Corp Mortgage Modification – Kevin

a company called US Consulting Corp contacted me about modifying my existing outrageous mortage payment. Said that due to the government sponsored HAMP….program they could reduce my payment from $4500 per month to $2583 ant the interest rate from around 5.8% to 3.57%.

Stated they would guarnatee it with a return on upfront fees of $3490 if I am not satisfied. They can close in 30 to 60 days….no closing costs…….sounds too good to be true….I really need some good advice….My mortgage eats up 80% of my monthly payroll

thanks

Kevin

  • Tried contacting the company found out the phone numbers are no longer good. This company is a scam.

  • US CONSULTING CORP suddenly shut its doors last week.  They are gone for good people.  But if you are seeking a reliable and effective mortgage restructuring company that does not take any upfront fees if your case is eligible for restructuring – then call my office at: 323-549-3409.  Ask for Ms. Carmichael, Trabuco Canyon Realty.

  • Kevin,
I hope you didn’t go through with this because it is a scam. Please be very careful. They make a lot of promise but it is all a lie. They told me they were gone give me 2.8% but i have to pay $2,490 first before doing anything. After they took my money i found out it was scamming company so when i asked for my money they will not give it back. Please don’t be fulled like me and loose your 2,490 once you give them you will never see that money again. Look at the governemnt site below to know more about scamming companies.

  • Please let me know if you went with the us consulting corp to modify your loan.  They also contacted me and I’m trying to decide if this is a good idea or not???  Thanks

  • Kevin, We too received this material, I also wonder if it is too good to be true. They do want money up front to send “proper paper work” to the bank for approval. They also told me that we would get the money back for the fee’s if not excepted. It would seem to me that if these programs are legal, why wouldn’t the banks just be working with us being they know we could turn to these other companies and get results? Please keep in contact if you should go through with that company and let me know how it went. Even the BBB probably wouldn’t have anything on them because if they are not legal and started getting bad reports to them, they would just change their name, 🙁
