I received an offer through the mail that appeared to be from my Mortgage Bank, Wells Fargo. I followed up on the offer to rework my mortgage and get an interest rate of 3.7% which could supposedly be accomplished in a very short time. I sent them a check for $2995 on July 7,.2011 and still have not received a contract or anything. At one point they said that our loan officer had gone on sick leave an someone else was taking over our loan request. We still have nothing to show for our $2995 paid up front and have been trying to get our money back. It turned out that this company was not connected with Wells Fargo.
Consumer Action Taken:
We have tried over and over to talk with someone and finally got to talk to Marco Acuna who had another fellow call us and he in turn supposedly contacted someone else who was to call us between 5 and 7 PM yesterday. This fellow did not call. In the period from 7/7/11 to the present my loan was headed toward foreclosure and we had to sell some property to pay off the loan, We notified State Law Group what we had to do and again requested a refund because we never got any kind of offer or anything from State Law Group and it is very evident that they are a bunch of crooks
The Myvesta Foundation sent a letter to the company at the address given or found and asked them to publicly respond to this complaint.
