Consumer Statement:

Being overwhelmed with Medical bills, I sort out companies that would help consolidate my bills. I am 70 years old on SS. I engaged a company named Fingo Group. I was informed that in 3 years would be debt free. I had to pay $400. Fee in April, 2011. I was then required to pay $335.02 every month. They were supposed to handle four bills through Atlas Consumer Cooperative, Texas. I kept asking why I have to belong to a cooperative. No definitive answer. After many phone calls, letters and paying a total of $1640. I cancelled. In doing some checking found 2 other seniors that were scammed by this same company. Only one complaint in the BBB, but it was solved and closed. BBB did nothing to help my case, I received some of my money back from Fingo Group, but Atlas Consumer would not refund my $900. This is a rip-off. They did nothing, when they could have paid off a small bill I had. I now have bad credit and still struggling….
