Check Your Social Security Benefits Online

Nice little story out on the Public Citizen blog today that had a link to the new Social Security online portal to check your social security benefits.

Apparently the Social Security Administration is not going to send out the paper statements any more but you can login to check on your benefits and salary history.

The registration was a bit annoying but once you make it through you can discover how much you are projected to receive when you retire, if you are disabled or if your spouse dies.
