Back in Jan 2010, I was contacted by Ameripride tax Group and charged $3,500.00 to resolve my tax issues with the IRS and calif. tax board. It seemed as if Brady Hampton was doing well with my case, and everything was moving forward. After a few months of not hearing from them, I contacted Rip-off Report, and a few days later was contacted by Audra Wright (Taxco.com and Executive Tax solutions, with the same address as ameripride). She said that she had purcased the “book of buisiness” from ameripride, and would work with me “pro-bono’ to get my future business. This was in Dec, 2011. Now (May 2012) she will not return my phone calls. She has my power of attorney, and has started the proccess with the IRS, and has now abandoned me leaving me worse off than if she hadn’t “helped”. The IRS has now levied my bank account, and when I try to call, the guy answering the phone say’s she will call m eback ” today”, and it never happens. After furthwer research, I checked the calif. Sec. of State website and found that audra is the person for service of proccess for Ameripride.
Consumer Action Taken:
I have E-mailed Audra several times over the last 2 months, no responce. I managed to get hold of “Steve” who answers the phones, and ‘Corey” her “get it done guy’ and get promised that they are on it and will get back to me later today. This has been done every day for the last two weeks now. They tell me, “don’t talk to the IRS, we do that for you.” I called two days ago about my levy, and they have done nothing. Also I have found that they do not answer when I call from my phone, but when I borrow some one elses phone, they answer right away. If you give me an e-mail address, I can forward all of my email srtings from when audra promised to do this work pro bono and to stay with it until it’s done.

I’m not sure it makes me feel any better but it appears that a lot of people were taken as I was. These stories are pretty much word for word what happened to me. There is no way to even try to connact Ms Wright now. All phone numbers seemed to be non fuctioning. Don’t know what I am going to do now. I am terrified.

couple months only to leave me with, NOTHING and now I am future in debt, and

on BBB is now an F, and I am trying to figure out what sort of credentials

What sort of accountability does an enrolled agent have, if any?
I was also taken in by these people. my story matches all or parts of those listed. Is there an agency that can take Ameripride Tax Group on prosecute them for fraud or interstate criminal activity?
I’d posted my complaint back in June about AmperiPride Tax Group & so now I’ve had to take the matter with IRS pro se! I’ve recently discovered that their phone is disconnected!!
