“Within the last year, CRG contacted Plaintiff using an automated telephone dialer system (hereafter “Robocalls”).
CRG placed up to five (5) Robocalls a week to Plaintiff’s cellular phone line (xxx-xxx- 9763).
Plaintiff never provided his cellular phone number to CRG.
On numerous occasions Plaintiff placed calls to CRG in an attempt to request that
CRG cease calls. However, Plaintiffs calls were not answered or returned.” – Source
Yea, five robocalls a week for credit repair would get a bit annoying.

To the former employee, if you can reach out to me at 443 253 6 8 1 2, I would be HAPPY to pay you money for the real name of the owners, I see the business has several fictitious names like American Appliance, California Life, Inc, etc. Call me and I’d be happy to share with you. To the people who are getting the 206 numbers on their caller ID, you need to sue a company called CallerID4U, Inc. They are registered in California. They are the ones providing the “caller ID” phone number which belongs to them, I have a suit against them too…I don’t put up with BS, I sue telemarketers out of business, and I want to see these assholes go down and I am willing to pay anybody who assists me.
Those getting the 206#s sue CallerID4u, Inc, under the TCPA, you are allowed $500 PER CALL!!!!

I was probably one of the first to use them. They got my money and I never heard from them. I had to contact them and was always sent to the processing department. Then they finally gave me a website for Credit Karma to monitor my own credit. That isn’t what I paid. I would get 5 calls a day from them. And now, my email inbox is loaded with emails soliciting their services. I called them and they said The Credit Repair Group is out of business. I said but this is the same number and email address. They said no this is a different company. And they hung up. They will not refund my money and they keep saying they are a Christian based company and I really want to file suit against them. Any help would be awesome. I have all of the current and past emails. I get a new email a day. Sometimes 2 or three from them.
I keep getting calls to my work number and cell phone from this group. It is very much annoying. i get a call to my work and then shortly to my cellphone. I realy would like to be taken off their call list. Not sure what to do next as calling them won’t work. Suiing them? I don’t have the resource or time.
It is much more serious than just getting phone calls. I signed up with them at the end of 2012. I got an email in January stating they would start working on my credit. In April, I got an email stating that The Credit Repair Group cancelled ties with “The Credit Research Group” … and therefore my account is closed. BUT I warn you that the “The Credit Research Group” continues to use the same phone numbers to presently call people, asking for their money (i just got a call this morning … offering the opportunity to send them more money for doing nothing. WOW) … probably until they change names again. I wish the operators would get the death penalty. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE CREDIT RESEARCH GROUP OR THE CREDIT REPAIR GROUP OR ANYONE WITH THE PHONE NUMBERS LISTED. That is, unless you like to enrich evil people who do business in the name of christianity.
I do not know how the Credit Repair Group got my number but starting in January I initially received between 3-5 calls a week from them. I contacted their representative four times and asked to have my number taken off of their list. I was informed this was being processed and to give them 2-3 days for the number to be removed. From here the frequency of calls has increased tenfold. Yesterday I received and
documented in my cell phone (7) calls in the span of about 4 hours. I now get as many as 5-10 calls per day from 206.397.1637. It impacts my work, my time with my young children. I do not want money or damages I just want to stop the calls. If there is any pay out I will gladly donate it to the Wounded Warrior Project, again I just need relief from the dozens of weekly harassing robo-calls from the credit repair group.
I have a screen shot of 7 calls on one day. The more I ask the to cease and desist the more calls that come.
I would often get up to 4 calls per day from this group… I put the phone number in my phone so it would go straight to voice mail. It was ridiculous often starting at 7a.m.
This is a business phone and the robo-call calls here EVERY day without fail. It comes at different times of the day and sometimes multiple times of the day. Is there any way to stop it?
I get on average 4-10 calls a week from these guys and its very frustrating. They dont even have an opt out option at the end of the message which I thought was a law. But if there is someway to get on the suit I would be happy to do it. Thanks Adams35@gmail.com
How do I join the lawsuit? I’ve requested my number to be removed at least 10 times but they don’t listen. They are using different numbers. A 206 area code and a 800 number. My office phone and my cellphone rings almost simultaneously. I’d do anything I can to make this company stop this BS.
The Credit Repair Group Scam – automated call or robocalling. After the first 10 calls. I have called them back and asked them to put me on their do not call list. I
have now done this over a dozen times and asked them to stop calling me. Each time they say they will and yet they just keep calling. From other posts I have have heard that this is the reson they keep calling me, because once I call to ask them to stop the system thinks I am a potential customer. My number is registered with the Do Not Call Registry and I have sent in two complaints about them. I have over 20 voicemails from the AutoBot in the last 3 weeks. I have excellant credit over 800. I have no idea why they keep calling me. I had their number blocked with my cell phone provider 206-397-1697 and then they started calling me from an 800 number 800-790-3520 which my cell phone provider says that they cannot block. I am looking into legal action at this time.
The company Credit Repair Group located in Garden Grove, CA. Basically right of the 22 fwy Valley View Exit is a scam company. It is true that they have an automated system or robot calling customers or potential customers. They get your number by you calling them because you heard an ad on the radio. They claim that they can repair your credit in 90 days and get you to a score of 720. I know this information because I used to work there. When I started working there I didn’t know what type of company it was because I was hired from a temp agency to work there. First off, the company is in a tiny suite that has only one bathroom and a very tiny kitchen the size of a bathroom. All employees are working side by side each other like in a sweat shop. None of them have experience in credit or know the law. They have several employees that are basically temp employees. They know nothing about repairing your credit or corporate credit. The CEO is white man who cares nothing about the employees. I take that back. Its a Mexican man there where he tells the white man what to do. The Mexican man is the manager and he does everything to not answer customer calls or anything. All he cares about is making sales. If you don’t get a certain amount of sales then he is ready to fire you. It is very sad because his whole concept is based on christian faith. Why would you want to fire your employees who are helping you lie to people to get money out of them. On top of that why are you lying to customers to get them to sign up with your company. Secondly, once a customer signs up supposedly a legal team member is suppose to keep them updated in the process of repairing their credit which is definitely not true. You will never hear from CRG again unless the customer calls and then when the customer calls that is when the company tells you more lies just to keep you off their back. They might transfer you to the processing department. The processing department are the ones that are actually “trying” to just log into your information regarding your credit via the credit bureau websites and dispute items off your credit report. All of that customers can do their self. No need to pay $300 dollars for that. Lastly, CRG company goes to a hotel located near the long beach airport where they supposedly hold seminars telling you about incorporating your business. All of it is a scam. I advise people who need their credit repaired to go to the credit bureau websites and see how you can fix your credit. No credit repair company can fix your credit and they are all scams. I felt so bad taking customers money knowing that this company could not help them.
I want in I get 4-5 calls a day from different numbers with the same credit repair group, lots of voice mails its getting crazy and i have been dealing with this for months
