I received an official notice that I could be helped by reducing my mortgage and getting caught up on a few payments I was late on with my mortgage. SC Law Group of California told me I qualified and then told me to leave out my wifes income to make it look better. They told me it was $3,495 and that they guaranteed me that I had a case and would save tens of thousands of dollars. I submitted the first $2000 and then got a call saying I actually didnt qualify, but they would work with me to get something
Consumer Action Taken:
I have shared my concerns with everyone I can, they keep telling me to send more money and now the bank has said they are going to foreclose on my house, where our family lives. They told me not to make payments and that they would move those payments to the end of the loan. These guys keep lying to me, one says I am all set, then they call and say I am not.
