“Dear Steve,
I’m trying to get help with my tax issue and I was contacted natiomal advocacy debt center by phone concerning a pending IRS audit/tax collection this Firm called my cell phone and had a robot message. The message said it was about my IRS issues and to press 1 or I may face a levy or judgement and the Attoreny may not take my case. So I pressed 1 and spoke to Kyle he was no a lawyer but a case analyst I’m gravely concerned how they got my information and my private cell phone they gave me a address when I looked it up the address Was 2 law firms and Ameripide Tax Group very suspicious. This type of agency seems to be a front for different company’s operating under1 roof how can I be sure they are REAL ? They are telling me that the firm is a team of tax and real estate attorneys but I can find no information on thier lawyers. What can I do I need some guidance.
Mary”
Dear Mary,
You should ask them for the specific names of the lawyers that would be representing you and verify if they are licensed to practice law in your state. If they are not then they can’t provide you with services as an attorney.
I just answered another question about National Advocacy Law Center as well. They must have one heck of a cold call dialing campaign going on right now.
Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.
