I received a confidential Message from Universal Fidelity, LP as well, stating I owe Hollywood Video for movies I never saw in 2009. I called to dispute 1-281-647-4156 and all they would say is how are you gonna pay. I said I will NOT pay and am disputing the claim. If I had any debt with Hollywood Video they would have billed me first and I have had no such billing.
Consumer Action Taken:
I sent an email to Universal Fidelity, LP stating I do not owe this money and to send me written proof when they clear up their mistake, and get the junk off my credit. I stated it is their responsibility to prove this debt, and they cannot, as I don’t owe them anything. I carbon copied the email to myself as well.
