Purchase Power Solutions – Consumer Complaint – 8-6-2012

Consumer Statement:

Purchase Power Solutions called and called and called our home. They spoke to me and I told them that they would have to call back and speak to my husband. They did call back and my husband spoke to a man named Christian Scott at length. They made great guarantees and representations that would lower our interest rates on all our credit cards a minimum of 50%. In the sales call they represented that they would deal directly with the creditors. My husband gave them his credit card number and they charged our card $998. The paperwork arrived and was NOTHING like which was represented on the telephone. In the paperwork they stated, in writing, specifically they will NOT negotiate or take any action on your behalf directly with your creditors. THE EXACT OPPOSITE Of WHAT WAS SAID ON THE SALES CALL. My husband called them and tried to talk to them about this and asked for a refund and they said “NO”. He then called the credit ca rd company and is trying to work with them but we will go to the AG. That is where we stand right now. Further updates to follow

Consumer Action Taken:

So far we have tried to get a refund from Purchase Power Solutions with no success.
We have called our credit card company and we await their resolution.
We will also report to the AG.
