They seemed to try to scam us!! Would advise anyone to do their research first. Seems like we were paying them more than what we owed, and they didn’t have to figure out a solution for our debt for over a year while every month we were to pay them. I’d advise finding another solution than to sign with this co.
We just finished an 18 month program with Cockburn and associates and we couldn’t be any happier with the end results, we are so happy to be able to say we are debt free! They had great customer service and are always there and willing to answer any questions or concerns that we may have had big or small without us feeling silly for asking. It wasn’t an easy decision to make and yes it was hard to save those large payments every month but all the sacrifice was worth it to be able to say, we are finally debt free!! Thank toy Cockburn and associates for helping us take back financial freedom!
Good for you Amanda.!! Happy for you. We too were able to go thro what was supposed to be a 4 year program(because of the high cc balances). But we made it thro in about 2 and a half. People are only too happy to tell their sad stories, but I think it is so important to tell the happy ones!! Thanks for sharing. The other, happily out of debt is my comment. We made our final payment to settle this past June, and we couldn’t be happier!!
It boggles my mind that all I see are complaints on this site…for my husband and I enrolled with Silverthorn and Lupolover debt settlement (now Cockburn and Assoc.) We were able to settle a very large credit card account within the year. Of course there were moments when we wondered if we were doin the right thing, after all 700$ went into a trust account every month, and it took some extra money saved, but with sheer determination to got thru the program as quickly as possible, I want to say we were able to have 31,000 written off that very large account. So to the defense of this company, I want to give them praise. Thank you. All you skeptics, need to follow their advise and give them a chance!
On my way to freedom!!!
