Freedom Financial Law, Christian Debt Law, Dominic DeSandro, Lisa Bell – Consumer Complaint – November 26, 2012

Consumer Statement:

I completed the debt negotiation plan with Freedom Financial Law aka Christian Debt Law, and have an unused balance of $3548.98 that I have been asking to be returned to me since October 16, 2012. The telephone and fax numbers for their Colorado office are disconnected.

The only person, Lisa Bell, who would respond is supposedly leaving the firm’s employ. The owner and debt negotiator, Dominic DeSandro, does not answer his phone, return phone calls, has failed to secure a solid settlement offer from a creditor by ignoring it, and he does not respond to emails other than he will get back to me which he does not do. I completed the program and want my remaining funds returned as outlined in the executed agreement from Freedom Financial Law.

Consumer Action Taken:

I have emailed and called the firm. I requested my money back and have waited the 4 weeks that the supposed audit would take to complete which in fact is not referenced in the agreement I signed with them.

It has actually been 42 days since I requested my balance be sent back to me so I could accept and execute the settlement offered to me. That offer expired October 31, 2012. I have kept the email stream to and from this firm regarding this issue.

I advised them on October 16th that I was preparing to file complaints which prompted a call from Dominic DeSandro who said he would review the offer and get back to me that day. I have received an email in late October that he was reviewing my account and would get back to me – he did not contact me thereafter.

I received an email that Lisa was leaving the firm and he would be in touch – he has not contacted me. In mid-November I requested that my balance be refunded to me and sent via FEDE X and authorized Dominic DeSandro to deduct the courier fee from my balance. After waiting a month, I requested his response within 48 hours or I would begin the complaint process.

I also called his private number and left a message to which he never responded. The toll free number always says that no one is available and to leave a message which results in no return call.
