First of all, How can all these company’s get away with all these scams and NOBODY goes after them? How do these people sleep at night? It’s no wonder this country is in the trouble they are in. These scamming company’s just keep getting away with the crap they are doing. How can we as good citizens even trust anybody? What a sad world we live in. This makes me sick that all these people are getting scammed the same way I have. We have been scammed by a company called Results for Homeowners the exact way all of these others have been scammed. They promise results, you sign a contract, we pay our money, we do everything we are asked to do and NOTHING!!!!!!! We as citizens trust and we get screwed! Bottom Line!!!!!

Consumer Action Taken:

I have left numerous messages, at least 30, e-mails, you name it, again, I trusted and same ‘ol response. NOTHING!!!!!!! If by chance I do get through, which I have a few times out of the 30 or more, they ask me to fax in whatever for the 20th time, I do it, they say they will call me back, and again, nothing.

Again DO NOT CONTACT “RESULTS FOR HOMEOWNERS” Loan mod doc. prep company.

  1. We are all in trouble together for many reasons. On this site I won’t even give my opinion, until and unless I have all the facts. Robert Platt Bell seems to have a lot of facts. I found his comment very informative, unlike the rant he was commenting on.

  2. First thing I noticed is your incorrect grammer. Unfortunately, if you live in this country, and are an American citizen, then let me correct what should be your third sentence, at most. Your first sentence isn’t even a sentence. It was; “First of all.” You went on to say; “It’s no wonder this country is in the trouble they are in.” Sorry, but if you’re an American citizen, the sentence would be….”It’s no wonder this country is in the trouble we’re (we are) in.” Yep, it’s we, buddy. We all in trouble together. Have a nice day.

  3. “First of all, How can all these company’s get away with all these scams and NOBODY goes after them?”

Yours is a common reaction and one that worries me a lot. People in this country get ripped off – a lot, and there is little or nothing the Federal Trade Commission or other agencies can do about it.

And they try, too. I testified against a Lawyer in a Patent Scam, on behalf of the FTC and the Patent Office. Net result, he got a six month suspension, after the government spent tens of thousands of dollars on the case.

There is a new consumer credit protection bureau, but the Republicans have been trying to kill it off, arguing that it is “too much regulation!” and that the economy would improve if we just got rid of more regulations.

Back in the 1960’s, things like payday loans, rent-to-own furniture, title pawn loans, credit repair scams, and the like did not exist – they were illegal and companies got sued and people went to jail if they tried such things.

Today, we are told these are “legitimate businesses” that do not need to be hampered by “unnecessary regulation” – and people believe this sort of thing.

These are not companies creating wealth, they are little more than criminal enterprises.

No one can get your money back, I am sorry to say. But you can vote in elections. And you should think carefully about who you are voting for.

Maybe then, over time, change will occur.

I hope so. Because more and more people like yourself are getting ripped off, getting mad, and then wondering whether our country is worth fighting for.
