just have a lot of credit cards and paying a lot every month i would like to pay everything off and have 1 payment
so i have credit cards up the ass and i can pay my bills every month on time and somewhat over the min. payment due but all together if i just pay the min. payments i am paying about 650.00 to 750.00 a month i am trying to find a loan to consolidate it into one payment and would like to pay it all off and up my credit score which is about (617) but because my score is so low no one will lend to me any ideas??? thanks,T.

Dear Tammy,
It is still possible to get an unsecured debt consolidation loan. Networks like Prosper and Lending Club make it possible.
Of course your access to these loans will be based on your credit score. And unfortunately a score of 617 is going to be below their threshold.
If you can make the minimum payments and still save a bit each month, one approach that might make sense is a credit counseling program. In their debt management plan your interest rates will be reduced.
These programs work well if you can make all five years of payments.
