Consumer Statement:
In June of 2009 I received a call from a debt relief company (Credit Alliance Group). I taked to a woman named Isabella and later signed an electronic contract with this company. I was to make 48 monthly payments of $630.80 into this program to relieve my credit card debt. I made 41 monthly payments to this company to only find out that on 1 Feb 13 they were closing down. Needless to say none of my seven credit cards that was enrolled into this program ever got paid. I feel I was scammed because this company didn’t provide the service or agreement according to the contract.
Consumer Action Taken:
I tried to resolve the problem by contacting the company on 1 Feb 13. I spoke to a woman who refused to give her name or allow me to speak to anyone else. I asked were the consumers going to get a refund and she said probably not. This was after she told me the company was closing down. I have all of my supporting documents and payments for this company.
