Estate Law Group – Consumer Complaint – March 6, 2013

Consumer Statement:

I contacted Estate Law Group in order to do a Loan modification and was working with Trino Llamas. I paid $3500 for the service and was contacted by them telling me that I needed to pay another $1,000 and send more paper work or my re-modification will not go through. After not paying this fee I was told that my lending bank closed and cancelled my modification and they wished me best with my future endeavors. I contacted my lending bank after this and was told that a modification was never even started.

Consumer Action Taken:

I contacted Estate Law Group via certified mail to let them know that I no longer wished to be represented by them in my loan modification and I wanted a full refund as it is illegal in the state of California to collect fees prior to the completion of a loan modification. I never heard back from Estate Law Group after they received my letter.
