“Dear Steve,

I currently have 5 payday loans and drowning as my paycheck all goes to payday loans (just paying off interests)…

I really need help and i cant seem to get personal loan so I checked online on payday loan consolidation companies.

came across Solid Ground Financial and received all the documents to enroll to the program but as I carefully read the fine prints some are bit confusing. I tried to find some recent reviews but no luck…does payday consolidation program really work? Please advise.

Dear Julie,

I just answered this question for a reader which brought up some very good points about payday loans.

Before enrolling any payday loans into any debt relief program you should first check and see if payday loans are even legal in your state. They might not even be collectible.

But depending on your situation there are a number of ways to tackle debt problems. And I would assume if you are drowning in payday loans you don’t have a lot of extra money each month to repay the payday loans and get by at the same time.
