Quick Answer: SC Law Group complaints involve alleged mortgage loan modification scams where consumers pay thousands upfront but receive no services. One consumer paid $5,510 to supposed attorney David Miller for loan modification assistance but received only liability release documents and no actual help over a year later.
Consumer Statement:
I know now that I was “Scammed”! Because, I contacted by a so-called Case Manager (DAVID MILLER), who informed me that he was an Attorney with “SC Law Group. And, that I could reduce my mortgage payments by a Loan Modification. He continued stating that he could assist me with the loan modification. But, I would have to pay for his services which totaled $5000.00. However, I could may payments in the amount of $1150.00 until fees were paid in full. Well, simple me, sent him the money and he sent me a 19 page document releasing him from any liability, and requesting my signature. And again, Simple Me signed the documents and returned them along with my Banks statements which were requested in the documents. This was over a year ago and I have not received any assistance or anything from DAVID MILLER!!
Consumer Action Taken:
Each weekday I send one short email: one money story that caught my attention, why it might matter to you, and one manageable thing you can do with it. A couple of minutes, and a dad joke.

I telephonically contacted David Miller and he directed me to a so-called Christina Madeaor, who requested more bank statements which I complied. As of today, I have not heard from Christina M. or David Miller. I have made several attempts to contact them but all attempts met with negative results. I have been TAKEN!!!
