Get Out of Debt Guy - Steve Rhode

SLS Managers – Consumer Complaint – July 2, 2014

1-844-335-1967

Consumer Statement:

“Jeff” told me he could get my payments reduced and a substantial amount of my student loans forgiven because I work for a non-profit organization providing needed services in an underserved area. He said he could do this at no cost. He sent me an email from NSProcessing via DocuSign. I wanted to read the documents before I signed them, but when I clicked on the button to “View Document” I saw the document and it said, “Thank you for signing.”

Consumer Action Taken:

I called right away and left a voicemail on Jeff’s phone clearly stating that I do not want their services, I do not want to do business with them, I do not give them permission to take any money out of any of my accounts. A few days later he called to say he did not understand, that I had signed the documents and the program was all set up. Further, he accused me of “getting myself into some other situation.” I repeated that I wanted him to reverse anything he had done because I want nothing to do with him or his services. He continued to argue and repeatedly stated that he did not understand. I told him Over several times that I want out of the deal and do not want his services. When I hung up on him because he refused to listen to me and kept arguing and accusing, he called back six times one right after the other and I kept rejecting his calls. He called back recently and left another message about the program going for ward as if I had never told him I do not want his program. I had to close my checking account and the Dept of Ed and Sallie Mae to have them make not that I do not want to have any dealings with SLS.
