Fidelity Land Trust was closed by the Attorney General after “charging the company, its operators and affiliate firms with selling homeowners on a complicated legal “scheme” that promised to make underwater mortgages disappear.”
According to the Florida Bar complaint, Feinmel “was told by Palm Beach County Judge Thomas H. Barkdull in 2012 that his argument trying to cancel a mortgage was without merit.”
“Despite having such actual knowledge, respondent continued to file similar frivolous and meritless actions based on similar legal theory,” the Bar complaint says. “Numerous such cases were ultimately dismissed by different courts.”
