Credence Law Group contacted me and after a brief review of my situation told me that I was eligible for a medication on my high interest mortgage. even though I clearly stated to them that I was never late with my payments. But their processor said that I will still be able to get a modification but I had to send them $3500 for processing they instructed me to sent 4 check FedEx and it would take 90 days to complete all the while they cashed all the check before the 90 and then on the 90th day I heard nothing and continued to call Liz Johnson with a status and she said it’s processing and about a month after I received a letter from my bank stating I was denied. When I call Liz J. back she said that she was in contact with the CEO of BOA and she would get back to me. so waiting for a response the end result was that they couldn’t do it. I inquired about my refund, when she told me that accounting would have to calculate what I w as entitle to. She contacted me back with $500 and I responded I would like a itemized invoice to justify $3,000 worth of service. While after that question I never received any answers and couldn’t get any one on the phone after that. I called the main Credence Law Group in Chicago and spoke to a Jennifer a couple of times and she would just forward my call to accounting or the managers number in which they never picked up. I would like the law to prosecute these people for preying on people that legitimately were looking to get help to relieve the worries of losing their homes.
Consumer Action Taken:
I called the main Credence Law Group in Chicago and spoke to a Jennifer a couple of times and she would just forward my call to accounting or to managers number in which they never picked up. I emailed the individuals from the intake person, processor, accounting manager named Mike and the main corporate office no response, at all. I would like the law to prosecute these people for preying on people that legitimately were looking to get help to relieve the worries of losing their homes.
