Consumer Statement:

I contacted Cockburn and Associates for help resolving my credit card issues (2). I followed their guidelines and did what I was instructed, paying 330.00/month. 10 months down the road, after collections calls and mail that were forwarded to them, they did nothing. When I contacted them to see why, they said they do not call the creditors??? Then why am I paying them, if they are not helping. I am now being sued by the 2 companies because of their lack of effort.

That plus they double billed me. Of the 330.00 per month, 66.67 were deducted for fees, then another 136.60 per month for “administrative fees???) leaving me with 127.00 of the 330.00 to go into my account. This is fraud that amount was never discussed.

Consumer Action Taken:

I requested the amount of 136.60/month for 10 months to be returned as I am canceling the use of their company, however they did not, only returned what was in my account. So, after paying them for 10 months, 1200.00 was returned, I am in worse financial trouble than before and it has gone from bad to worse…do something about these leeches…
