“This post was not made by Edward Cherry who used the Stephen Palmer CPA firm and had an excellent experience.”
Consumer Statement:
I was referred to Stephen Palmer “tax rescue” specialist. He took $1000 from me and did not do anything. Now he claims that him and the IRS collection agent “have dealt with each other in the past” and that he cannot represent me. I research the referral company “Esquire Tax Resolution, LLC” owned by Lawrence Diodato. I did some research on this individual and apparently he is a serial scammer.
To make matters worse, I googled his address and he is working out of the Rotelli Pizza Corporate offices???
Consumer Action Taken:
I demanded my money back and now they will not take my calls.

The consumer scam report about taxrescuefirm is very true. This company promises consumers (people with tax debt of at least $5000). Debt relief by telling them that they have a CPA on board who’s going to work on their behalf with the IRS, however the company is misrepresenting the person they are saying is a CPA, and they take a retainer amount from clients and the most they will do is getting the consumer’s transcripts from the IRS and that’s about it.. It’s the biggest scam I’ve ever witnessed as a former employee, I just couldn’t be part of these scams. Someone needs to stop these people from stealing money from poor consumers who really need the help. There are so many accounting/financial ethical rules this company is breaking, and I want to help share the light on, however I want to remain anonymous.
